About the role:
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager who is ready to get involved across all areas of project delivery. This is a full time, office based role located in the South of Brisbane, with site visits required as needed. You will work closely with director, project managers, engineers, supervisors and clients to keep projects moving on time and on budget.
Whether you are helping prepare ITPs, tracking variations or assisting with scheduling and coordination, your role will have a direct impact on project success.
Key responsibilities:
Planning, scheduling and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including TMR and council works
Coordinate with site teams and provide support from the office to ensure smooth daily operations
Prepare and manage ITPs and quality assurance documentation
Management of variations and client communications
Conduct occasional site visits to carry out inspections
Monitor project progress against schedule and assist in identifying potential delays or issues
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to meet project goals
Attend and contribute to internal coordination meetings and project planning sessions
Procurement tracking and delivery coordination
Maintain accurate and up to date project records including progress photos, RFIs and documentation
What we are looking for:
Tertiary qualification or diploma in civil engineering, construction management or a related field
Some experience or exposure to civil construction projects, either through previous work or industry placement
Strong organisational and communication skills
Willing to learn, take initiative and get involved across multiple tasks
Comfortable in a fast paced office environment with dynamic project demands
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Project
Construction White Card and current driver licence
