Support Services Queensland provides in home support, community access and Support Independent Living across Brisbane Moreton Bay, Redlands and Ipswich. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic disability support workers to join our team. We promote individuality and respect.

This is a casual role and may be based at any of our sites across Brisbane, with placement considered based on your home location and availability. Applicants must be willing to work weekends and do sleepovers.

The Role:

Disability Support Workers work directly with people with a disability, their families/ guardians and all relevant stakeholders. Disability Support Workers provide opportunities for the people they support to increase their capacity and expand their networks. Engagement and inclusivity are necessary for success.

Essential Requirements:

Australian Driver's License

NDIS Disability Workers Screening

NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Current First Aid and CPR

Manual Handling competency evidence (or willingness to complete)

The right to work in Australia

Availability to work across 7 days (am, pm and overnight shifts)

Competent with Microsoft Office suite particularly MS Word and MS Outlook

Certificate III/IV in Aged, Community or Disability Care (Preferred)

Entry rate of $43.23 per hour (casual). Adjustments may be applicable based on qualifications and or experience.
