Birch Care is hiring Casual Disability Support Workers to join our passionate and growing team.

We are currently recruiting for participants requiring community access, personal care, companionship, and Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports.

About the Role – Casual Disability Support Worker

As a Disability Support Worker, you will:

Assist participants in their homes and in the community.

Provide personal care, companionship, domestic assistance, and community access.

Support participants with psychosocial needs including schizophrenia, ABI, and anxiety.

Encourage independence, inclusion, and confidence.

Work flexible casual shifts — weekdays, weekends, evenings, and overnights available.

What You’ll Need

To be considered, you must already hold:

Certificate III (or above) in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or Mental Health.

At least 6 months’ experience in disability, aged care, or mental health.

Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply).

Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).

Current First Aid & CPR certification.

Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured car.

Full Australian working rights.
