Customer Care Representative – Barossa Veterinary Service
Part-time or Full-time position based in the Barossa Valley

Barossa Veterinary Service is seeking a Customer Care Representative who is passionate about delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for our clients.

About the Role
This role is a part-time or full-time position based in the Barossa Valley. You'll be the first point of contact for our clients, helping them with appointments, enquiries, and follow-ups. All while ensuring their pets receive the best care possible.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing administrative support, including bookings, insurance claims, prescriptions, client orders, and general enquiries
Managing phone lines and welcoming clients warmly and professionally
Maintaining the waiting room and merchandise displays
Assisting with patient follow-ups and client communications
Supporting the team to uphold our high standards of care and service
Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems, client experience, and workflows
About You
You're an organised, compassionate, and detail-oriented person who takes pride in going the extra mile. You enjoy connecting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring positive energy to your team.
You'll bring:
Experience in customer service, reception, or administration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A professional, empathetic approach when dealing with people and their pets
Excellent attention to detail and confidence using digital platforms
The ability to stay calm and problem-solve under pressure
A genuine interest in animals and the human–animal bond
A growth mindset, you're curious, adaptable, and open to new ways of working
The desire to contribute to improving the client experience and team processes
Preferred:
Experience in the veterinary, healthcare, or medical industries, and the ability to discuss financial matters with care and compassion.
