Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with shopping centre base-build contractors for access, isolations, and approvals.

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to confirm deliveries, availability, and lead times.

Assist with project scheduling for both internal employees and external trades.

Review drawings and identify site discrepancies or installation issues for discussion with the Foreman.

Complete and submit required site documentation (e.g. smoke detector isolations, hot works permits, security access forms).

Conduct site visits for measurements, progress checks, and scheduling coordination.

Provide administrative support such as document filing, purchase orders, and progress tracking.

Occasionally assist with minor onsite installations or defect rectifications (e.g. fixing trims, patching, or joinery adjustments).

Communicate with the client and project team to ensure smooth information flow between office and site.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in commercial fit-out / shopfitting / construction (essential).

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and joinery plans.

Competent with Microsoft Office, PDF markup tools, and scheduling software.

Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites across Sydney.

White Card (Construction Induction).

Trade background (carpentry / joinery) highly regarded but not required.
