At Jobwire Recruitment, we’re looking for dedicated Support Workers to support individuals living with spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions in the community. This part-time role offers you the stability of regular hours while making a meaningful difference in someone’s life every day. We are looking for support workers to assist in Newcastle Metro, Oakhampton Heights, Seaham and Arcadia Vale.

What You’ll Do

Provide person-centred care: showering, mobility support, meal preparation

Assist with specialised care routines (continence, catheter, bowel care)

Support with community access — shopping, appointments, social outings

Help clients maintain independence through respectful, empowering support

Deliver care in line with client plans, ensuring dignity, privacy, and safety

What We’re Looking For

Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care (or equivalent experience)

Hands-on experience with bowel care, catheter care, and manual handling

Strong knowledge of safe personal care practices

Current First Aid & CPR

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

A warm, compassionate, and reliable approach

Driver’s licence, car and comprehensive car insurance
