The Payroll and Systems Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the Building and Plumbing Commission‘s Payroll function and system including supporting the end-to-end payroll process and backend system functionality. The role supports the Payroll Team to meet changing demands, ensures data integrity and system changes in line with the Enterprise Agreement, policies and associated legislation.
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated experience in processing end to end payrolls including Month End and EOFY processing and STP.
- Significant experience and knowledge of Chris21 and/or iChris system and with Enterprise Agreement interpretation especially as it relates to system development/upgrades/updates and reporting functionality.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Payroll Legislation and a thorough understanding of the Australian Privacy Principles and best practice data protection.

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
