We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader to join our friendly and professional team.

The Role
As our Early Childhood Teacher/Educational Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping high-quality early childhood education and care. This position offers the opportunity to spend four days on the floor with children and one day off the floor in a leadership role, guiding programming and practice across the preschool.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and the broader community to create engaging and inclusive programs that support each child’s cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging, play-based educational programs.

Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Lead and mentor the teaching team in reflective practice and program development.

Monitor and document children’s learning and development.

Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Contribute to continuous improvement aligned with the National Quality Standards.

Collaborate with the team to foster a positive and respectful learning environment.

Essential Criteria

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved).

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to child development.

Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Desirable Criteria

Previous experience in an early childhood setting. (Preferably 5 years +)

First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
