The Opportunity
Join a collaborative team dedicated to advancing knowledge in paediatric sleep research. The Research Assistant will contribute to studies investigating sleep and respiratory control in preterm infants, sleep disordered breathing in children and sleep patterns among children with developmental and chronic health conditions. Working alongside experienced scientists and clinicians, you will play a vital role in generating insights that improve the health and wellbeing of infants and children.
In this position, you will take part in all stages of research activity, from physiological data analysis to database management and research data entry. You will also have opportunities to contribute to publications, conference presentations and related professional activities. The role encourages initiative and provides scope to build your research expertise while working within a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.
We are seeking someone with an honours degree or equivalent qualifications in a relevant discipline and demonstrate strong analytical and manuscript preparation skills. Excellent problem-solving ability, organisational capability and effective communication are essential, as is the capacity to work collaboratively with both colleagues and study participants, including children and their families.
