FUNCTIONS: what you need to do in this job.

Receiving

Receive purchase orders for all locations (DC and showrooms).

Count and scan items received.

Report incorrectly received items or if missing items.

Reporting non-stocked items received for stock to create new SKUs.

Put stock away in its correct location.

Check if those purchase orders are for stock or for customer orders.

Other tasks as directed.

Picking

Regularly check new queue and pick sales orders.

Assist team members to locate stock.

Split customer sales orders to be sent partially.

Resolve and fulfill urgent sales orders for sales staff.

Other tasks as directed.

Packing

Pack customer sales orders.

Dispatch orders that are ‘click n’ collect’ and put them in warehouse locations.

Same day delivery.

Resolve and fulfill urgent sales orders for sales staff.

Other tasks as directed.

Packing Door-by-Door

Packing customer orders door-by-door

Perform regular packing checks.

Administration

Answer warehouse emails in a timely manner.

Attend to phone enquiries from Sales and CS staff to check stock, measurements, etc.

Accurately process stock transfers.

Negative stock in Dropship orders.

Maintain locations in the warehouse.

Perform stock adjustment to fix inventory discrepancies.

Help facilitate customer pickups.

Counting stock for off-site staff.

Other tasks as directed.

Inventory accurately accounted for and stored in a safe, secure, and organised manner.

QUALIFICATIONS: what qualifications and education are required for this job.

A certificate in warehousing would be highly desirable

Forklift licence is desirable

EXPERIENCE: what experience is preferred for this job.

Warehousing experience - ideally more than 1year + is desirable
