Get Chunky is very excited to announce that we are looking for a Shift Manager to join our East Victoria Park store.

We are seeking a candidate with management experience to oversee and run open, day, and closing shifts at our East Victoria Park location.

At Get Chunky we pride ourselves on hand-making Australia’s best gourmet chunky NY style cookies with high quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers.
We are family owned and operated and have a likeminded team who are set on delivering confident, friendly customer service from start to finish.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Customers:

- Lead by example when it comes to friendly and welcoming customer service

- Overseeing any customer enquires or issues with transactions or orders.

- Previous experience with grab and go dining preferred

Staff:

- Training of new staff during the onboarding process

- Manage staff performance through regular feedback, coaching and training

- Motivating staff to uphold our culture and values, to foster a positive and inclusive work environment

Operations:

- Ensuring that the FOH of each site is well presented, and well prepared for daily service

- Baking and prepping of stock items and ingredients for service

- Overseeing any requests for ordering of ingredients and packaging

- Overseeing all staff on site, and allocating tasks and needed

- Assisting with rostering issues such as shift swaps or covers in our rostering software

- Liaise with suppliers over ingredients or inventory when required

Expected Skills/Qualifications

- Experience in a similar role

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a keen eye for detail

- Ability to multitask and problem solve on the go

- Ability to remain calm when working under pressure

- Proficient with Excel

- Experience using Tanda preferred

- Experience with managing, leading, and training staff

- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and nights
