Located on the verge of Lathlain and Burswood, The Empire Bar is a Gold Plate award winning restaurant and tavern with bottleshop attached. We are a classic pub with friendly regulars, frequent functions, live bands on a Friday night, DJ’s on Saturdays and a huge footy program. You will work alongside an experienced and vibrant management team that are well established in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing service, leading and supporting a team of bartenders and waitstaff, making sure the shift runs smoothly.

Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues/complaints.

Opening and closing the venue.

Ordering and managing stock inventory.

Monitoring staff standards and venue procedures.

Conducting staff training and maintaining adequate staffing levels.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous management experience in a bar or restaurant is essential.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Strong organisational skills, being able to work independently without constant supervision.

Ability to multitask and manage a high-paced environment.

A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.

Hours available range from 25-38hrs per week for the right candidate, with potential to go onto contract.
