About the role

Buildmark Developments Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Building/Carpenter Apprentice to join our team in Parramatta, NSW. As a full-time role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training in the building and carpentry trades, working alongside experienced professionals to deliver high-quality construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Assisting experienced carpenters and tradespeople with a variety of construction tasks, including framing, roofing, flooring, and finishing work

Developing carpentry skills through on-the-job training and completing an apprenticeship program

Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Attending vocational training and completing coursework to obtain a carpentry qualification

What we're looking for

A keen interest and passion for the building and construction industry

Willingness to learn and a positive, hardworking attitude

Good hand-eye coordination and physical fitness

Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions

Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills
