About the role

The International School of Music - Morley is seeking experienced and passionate Piano, Violin and Vocal Teachers to join our vibrant and growing team in 2026. This is a contract/casual role based in Morley, WA 6062, offering the opportunity to work with students of all ages and skill levels.

What you'll be doing

Delivering high-quality individual music lessons in piano, violin, viola and voice, or group in piano

Developing tailored lesson plans and teaching materials to meet the unique needs and goals of each student

Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement

Collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure an engaging and fulfilling learning experience

Contributing to the broader musical community through recitals, concerts and other performance opportunities

Adhering to the school's policies and procedures to maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a piano, violin, viola or vocal teacher, with a track record of delivering exceptional results

Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to adapt teaching styles to suit different learning styles and abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents

A passion for music education and a commitment to helping students of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential

Applicants must hold relevant qualifications or certifications in music education or performance, with a minimum of AMEB or ABRSM Grade 8 (or higher). Priority will be given to candidates who also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music.
