About the role

Waves of Kindness Ltd is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to join our team in Noosaville, QLD. In this role, you'll be the friendly face of our organisation - welcoming customers, assisting with sales, and maintaining a clean and inviting shop environment.

What you'll be doing

Deliver high-quality, knowledgeable customer service – greet customers, assist with enquiries, and provide product advice.

Answer phones promptly and handle or redirect enquiries professionally.

Accurately perform shop operating procedures, including sales processing and cash handling.

Receive, prepare, and display goods for sale.

Support inventory management and product pricing.

Liaise with staff, management, and volunteers to ensure smooth daily operations.

Maintain a clean and organised counter and shop area.

Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

What we're looking for

Minimum 6 months’ experience in a retail or customer service environment.

A professional, friendly, and confident approach.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Adaptability and a positive attitude.

Team player who’s willing to assist others and contribute to shared goals.

Good time management and organisational skills.

Initiative and ability to work independently when required.

Reliable availability Monday to Thursday mornings (8:15am - 1:15pm).

Must have the right to work in Australia.
