About the role

Corjay Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Electrician to join our skilled team in Lockleys, SA. As a full-time Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems of a wide range of vehicles. What you'll be doing

Performing comprehensive vehicle electrical system diagnostics and troubleshooting

Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components and wiring

Programming, calibrating and testing electronic control units and modules

Undertaking scheduled electrical maintenance on vehicles

Documenting all work completed and maintaining detailed records

Providing excellent customer service and advising clients on electrical issues

Working collaboratively with the wider automotive service team

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent qualification

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Qualified Automotive Electrician

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and electrical test instruments

Knowledge of automotive electronic systems, including body electronics, engine management and vehicle network communications

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to high quality standards

Good customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively

A current driver's licence and your own tools
