About the role

AMAP Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking experienced NDT Technicians to join our dynamic team in Brendale, Queensland. As an NDT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our clients' industrial assets through the application of non-destructive testing techniques. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a well-established and respected engineering company in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

Perform a range of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant inspections

Analyse test results and prepare detailed reports to identify potential issues or defects

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop and implement appropriate testing strategies

Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results

Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards to minimise risks and ensure compliance

Provide training and supervision to junior technicians as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as an NDT Technician, with a solid understanding of various NDT methods and their applications

Relevant trade qualifications or certifications, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Non-Destructive Testing

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret test data and identify potential issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and reports

Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients

A safety-focused mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
