Shepparton Packaging Site – Casual Position

A vacancy exists for a person interested in the packaging industry at our Shepparton (Lemnos) Packaging site. We already have a network of ten retail stores in Northern Victoria and we have now introduced packaging products into our offering through the opening of our new packaging site. Our company provides a great opportunity to grow your distribution and service skills in a friendly team environment and this position also provides an outstanding opportunity for career advancement.

The Primary responsibilities of the position are:

Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing trucks

Moving stock in warehouse to support carton erecting team

Wrapping pallets and ensuring warehouse is organised as required

You will require:

A current forklift licence

Experience operating a forklift in a face-paced warehouse environment

Good communication skills

A solid Manual Handling technique

Able to work safely within a team environment

Previous experience in the packaging industry would be looked upon favourably

This position is initially offered as a casual position and it is anticipated that average hours would be approximately 35-40 hours during our upcoming peak season. There is opportunity for progression to an ongoing position for the right candidate.
