Caring Cuisine is a not-for-profit organisation providing homestyle, nutritious meals to older people, people with disability, and others in need across greater Brisbane. We’re a small, dedicated team supported by an amazing network of volunteers, all committed to delivering meals with heart so that our clients can remain independent at home.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Client Onboarding Assistant to help ensure new clients receive a smooth introduction to our service.

You’ll work under supervision to contact prospective clients, distribute service information packs, record referral and new client intake details, and assist with basic client data entry and follow-up. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and being part of a supportive team.

This is a permanent part-time role (40 hours per fortnight), generally worked Wednesday to Friday, with start and finish times to be negotiated. The ideal applicant will have flexibility for occasional leave cover across other days of the week.

What You’ll Be Doing

Make initial outreach calls to prospective clients who have been referred to us or who have submitted an online enquiry

Prepare and send information packs to prospective clients

Make courtesy or follow-up calls

Enter new client details into our system and maintain accurate records as directed

Respond to routine phone and email enquiries and forward messages to senior staff when needed

Provide general administrative assistance to support the client onboarding process

Work cooperatively with staff and volunteers, following Caring Cuisine’s procedures and guidelines

What You’ll Bring

Friendly, patient, and professional phone manner

Basic administrative or customer service experience (paid or volunteer)

Confidence using email and basic computer programs

Good attention to detail and willingness to learn

Reliability and a genuine desire to help others
