Your New Role
As an experienced Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for working with your team and driving our vision at Erina kindergarten. The role wears many hats which will prioritise the well-being and lifelong learning of each child. Your day to day may consist of:
Leading and mentoring a team of a passionate educators
Developing and implementing engaging programs that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Building strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
Collaborating with the management team to enhance our program and community engagement efforts.
Our New Team Member
For our open role to be successful, we are looking for our new team member who:
Holds a certificate 111 or Diploma or is studying towards a Diploma in Children's Services, recognised by ACEQA.
Holds a completed Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) recognised by ACEQA
Possesses strong communication skills and a passion for Early Childhood Education.
Demonstrates leadership qualities and a positive attitude as a team player
Has demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring or supervising early childhood education teams
Holds current certifications including a working with children check, police check, first aid certification and child protection training.
Holds current certifications (all within validity periods): Working with Children Check, National Police Check (within 3 years), First Aid Certificate including CPR, and approved Child Protection Training
Has a thorough understanding of regulations, the Early Years Learning Framework, and the National Quality Framework.
Has a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a qualified educator in an early childhood setting
Has unrestricted rights to work in Australia

You will need the following to be considered for the role;
• Early childhood diploma in children services or working towards your diploma in children's services as recognised by ACEQA
• Current working with children check
• Current police check
• Current full first aid certification
• Current recognised child protection training
• Knowledge of regulations, Early Years learning framework and the National Quality Framework
• A can do attitude as a positive team player
