Heart Care Australia is a private Cardiology clinic located in Bankstown and is looking for a Cardiac Technician or Cardiac Sonographer for a 9-week temporary role, starting 24th November 2025 to 21st January 2026. This includes 2 weeks paid training and will be a shared role.

This role would be suitable for a current Cardiac sonography student who is seeking paid work over the Christmas period or someone interested in a career as a Cardiac Technician. People early in their career are welcome to apply, but Uni degree is essential.

Position: Cardiac Technician / Sonographer (x2 roles available)

Type: Temporary Contract

Duration: 7 weeks cover + 2 weeks training (4 days per week)

Training Period: 24th November 2025 – 5th December 2025

Contract Period: 8th December 2025 – 21st January 2026

Wages: $35-80 p/h plus super

Duties include ECG, Holter attachment and analysis, BP monitoring, Transthoracic echocardiograms and Stress echocardiograms.

The ideal candidate will have:

· An undergraduate degree in science is required with an interest in further training and experience or is an ASAR Accredited Cardiac Sonographer or is a Cardiac Technician

· Experience with ECGs, Holter analysis, BP monitoring, Transthoracic Echos, Stress Echos

· Attention to detail and ability to excel in a varied workload

· Must be highly reliable and honest with an excellent attendance record

· Any previous clinical/cardiac technician experience is advantageous but not crucial
