Locum Sonographer - Regional South Australia | Local Health Contract

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sonographer for a 4-12 week contract in Regional South Australia, working on behalf of the Local Health Contract. This role involves performing advanced ultrasound procedures across a range of clinical specialties using cutting-edge equipment. You will operate with a high degree of professional independence, contributing to patient care across diverse healthcare needs🩺

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complex medical imaging examinations using specialised ultrasound equipment.
• Maintain and enhance your specialist knowledge in ultrasound.
• Contribute to the professional development of other radiographers and uphold ultrasound standards.
• Participate in and coordinate ultrasound quality assurance programs.
• Engage in routine research programs to support advancements in the field.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Accredited Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound.
• Registered as an Accredited Medical Sonographer with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• Proven experience within a hospital setting required- no new graduates sorry
• Australian Working Rights (WHV welcome!)
