About the Role

We are currently seeking a Gatehouse Security Guard to join our team at a busy site in Sydney. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all visitors and contractors, ensuring access control procedures are followed and safety protocols maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Manage vehicle and pedestrian access at the gatehouse

Maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs

Conduct site inductions and verify identification

Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activity or safety breaches

Liaise with site management and emergency services when required

Conduct regular patrols of entry and exit points

Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance

Skills & Experience

Current NSW Security Licence

Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 preferred)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Experience in gatehouse, warehouse, or construction security (preferred)

Ability to work independently and manage busy access points
