Your new Role:
The Clinical Nurse provides advanced clinical expertise and autonomous management in delivering specialist, culturally sensitive care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients with complex health needs. As part of the HOMES team, the CN leads holistic, person-centred care that respects cultural, social, and emotional wellbeing, promotes client empowerment, and enhances health literacy through a strengths-based, collaborative approach.

About the Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care:
The Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care is a Queensland Health service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Located in Inala, 18 km Southwest of Brisbane CBD, our clinic is staffed by GPs, nurses, allied health, and Aboriginal health workers, and visiting medical specialists. We also provide health-related services at a community level, and our research team is dedicated to finding and publishing evidence about how to improve the health of our patients.
