Join a leading Australian manufacturer in the hot water systems industry as an Industrial Electrician on the afternoon shift. Work with advanced technology in a modern fixed-plant environment, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
💡 About the Role
You’ll perform preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and automation issues, and contribute to ongoing improvement projects across a highly automated facility featuring over 20 robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on plant machinery and robotics.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks (e.g. earth leakage testing).
• Support plant modification, reliability, and improvement projects (Lean & TPM initiatives).
• Carry out data entry to assist with root cause analysis and PM reporting.
• Program, troubleshoot, and make minor edits to Allen Bradley PLCs using Rs5000 software.
• Replace and configure VSD drives.
• Assist with stores management and job planning (parts, tools, and safety).
• Provide light supervision and support to apprentices.

🧠 Skills & Experience:

• Trade-qualified Electrician with an Australian-recognised Electrical Licence.
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred).
• Basic understanding of PLC programming and robotics (ABB / Kuka) – training provided.
• Strong fault-finding, communication, and problem-solving skills.

🎓 Training Provided:

• PLC and robotics programming will be taught on the job.
• Ongoing support to develop programming skills within 12 months (with Dux assistance).
