About the Role

We’re looking for Sous Chefs to join our Newcastle team for Aged Care and community kitchen work. You’ll be part of a professional, supportive team providing high-quality meals in caring environments. These roles are perfect for chefs who value structure, consistency, and daytime hours while still enjoying the flexibility of casual work.

Aged Care experience is an advantage, but not essential. If you have a solid background in commercial kitchens, we’ll help you adapt to the requirements of the sector.

Sous Chef from $40.85/hr plus penalties and super

What You’ll Need

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
Flu vaccination (COVID vaccination preferred)
Experience in Aged Care or commercial kitchen environments
Understanding of food safety, dietary needs, and allergen management (training provided if needed)
Reliable, caring, and professional approach
