Process Consultant

Engagement: Full-time, Sydney (Hybrid)
Start: Immediately - week commencing
Duration: October - August 2026 (extendable)
Salary: up to $870 per day including super
Program: Telco Transformation

The Mission

Own and deliver the current-to-target Change Management (CM) process definition and controls design - landing the Target Process & Control Model by 30 November 2025.

What You'll Do

• Map As-Is CM flow (request → approval → execution → closure → PIR) across RAN, Core, IP Networks, Cloud, and Transmission.
• Define the Target Process - policies, gates, separation of duties (four-eyes), evidence packs, and risk routing.
• Rationalise existing checklists; set standards for data freshness, MoP validation, and executor/checker capture.
• Design data models and field dictionaries for NSM/Helix forms and reporting.
• Establish roles and responsibilities (RACI), approval matrices, daily boards, and escalation pathways.
• Deliver CAB-ready artefacts: process maps, SOPs, templates, and training briefs.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years' process consulting experience within Telco Service or Change Management environments.
• Strong grounding in ITIL with hands-on experience producing CM artefacts (process maps, RACIs, SOPs, controls, metrics).
• Proven ability in evidence-led controls design and practical familiarity with NSM/Helix workflows.
• Excellent written communication and facilitation skills with a polished, stakeholder-focused cadence.
