Saywell Projects carries out a range of plumbing, gasfitting, property maintenance and improvements in Darwin, rural and remote areas throughout the top end. Our works vary from maintenance, renovations and extensions to new build projects in domestic and commercial applications. We are a small home-based company that pride ourselves on providing a premium service to our clients, and look after our employees providing generous remuneration, 4 weeks leave, 17.5% leave loading, RDO's, penalty rates for overtime and professional development and flexibility for the right candidate.

We are seeking an experienced plumber to join our growing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Use of job management software (FERGUS) including scheduling and invoicing

Assisting with planning and scheduling of works as required

Liaising with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders as required

Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing and gas systems

Conducting complex diagnostics and troubleshooting

Reading and interpreting of plans, specifications and other construction documentation as required

Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations

Providing mentorship and supervision to junior staff as required

Participating in project planning and coordination

Any other works reasonably required by the business

Works away from home in remote locations will be required at times for periods not exceeding 2 weeks (generally 1 week or less)

The successful applicant will have:

Great work ethic, be reliable, punctual, honest, trustworthy and take pride in their work

Drivers Licence

White Card

NT Plumbers & Drainers Licence

Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Be prepared to share skills and train apprentices

Ability to utilise technology

Advantageous but not essential:

NT Gasfitting licence and experience

Experience using job management software (FERGUS)

Excavator Operator

First Aid

HR Licenece

Safe Work at Heights

Confined Space Entry

Boom Lift Operator
