We’re looking for a switched-on Plumber / Polywelder who’s got a solid construction mindset and knows their way around VR9 plastic pipes. If you’ve got your polywelding ticket and can handle water reticulation work, we want you on the team.

The mine site is based in the Tanami Desert, located 530 kms northwest of Alice Springs

Nature of this position includes exposure to the desert heat, rain, uneven ground conditions and an isolated environment.

2/2 Roster
12 hour days
Point Of Hire: Darwin, Alice Springs, Brisbane or Perth

What you’ll be doing:

• Welding VR9 plastic pipes for water reticulation
• General plumbing tasks on construction projects
• Working as part of a reliable, hands-on crew
• Variety of work across solid projects

Must-haves

• Valid polywelding ticket
• Proven experience working with VR9 plastic pipes
• Trade qualification in plumbing
• Strong understanding of construction site operations
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Driver’s licence
• Permanent resident
• Able to get a police clearance
• Able to pass a full medical and drug & alcohol screen
