About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Electrician to join our dynamic team at John Wyatt Electrical Pty Ltd in Mount Alford, QLD. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility.

Paid to travel to and from site.

5.30am on site start 1pm finish (with optional overtime) Monday - Friday, optional Saturday work at penalty rates as well.

What you'll be doing

Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including motors, switchgear, programmable logic controllers, and other industrial electrical equipment

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime

Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve electrical issues

Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed

Continuously seek opportunities to improve electrical systems and processes

What we're looking for

Qualified electrician with a current Electrical Licence

Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting will help but can be trained

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
