About the role

At Alpha Solar & Electrical Pty Ltd, we are seeking a talented and motivated SAA Accredited GCPV + GCBS Electrician and 2x Electrical Apprentice/Solar Roofer to join our team. This full-time role presents an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the growing renewable energy and electrical services industry.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the installation and maintenance of solar PV + Battery systems, including panel placement, wiring, and connection to the grid

Providing support to qualified electricians with a range of electrical tasks, such as wiring, testing, and troubleshooting

Performing general labouring duties, including site preparation, tool and material handling, and clean-up

Continuously learning and developing your skills through on-the-job training and formal apprenticeship programs

What we're looking for

Strong interest and passion for renewable energy and electrical work

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights

Effective communication and teamwork skills

A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow procedures

Eligibility to undertake an electrical apprenticeship program

Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

Previous solar installation experience is required

Age requirements for electrical apprenticeship eligibility will be assessed on a case by case basis
