About the Role

We are seeking experienced Underground Diamond Drillers to join high-performing teams across multiple projects in Western Australia and beyond. You will be responsible for operating underground diamond drill rigs safely and efficiently, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality core recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate underground diamond rigs to achieve daily and monthly meter targets

• Conduct pre-start checks, maintenance, and basic servicing of drilling equipment

• Manage rod handling, core recovery, bit changes, and equipment adjustments

• Accurately complete daily drill logs and record geological and production data

• Monitor ground conditions and adjust drilling parameters where needed

• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and geologists to deliver efficient results

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Driller Assistants

• Maintain strict compliance with site and company safety standards

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience operating underground diamond drill rigs in hard rock environments

• Sound mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to achieve production targets safely and efficiently

• Current manual driver’s licence and full Australian working rights

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

• Strong communication, teamwork, and safety awareness

• Desirable qualifications: First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Space
