Open 7 days, morning until late, Manon caters to must-have morning coffee and pastries, through to lingering post-dinner drinks. Guests are spoilt with a culinary selection of French classics, curated wine lists, and eloquent cocktails.
About the job
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to manage our dinner offering, who is passionate about people, cares about their team and excels at building customer relationships.
Simply put you have a customer service + people first attitude. You will be someone who takes pride in their work, and enjoys working as part of a team!
Reporting to the Venue Manager, and working alongside a management team you will be responsible for:
Ensuring delivery of the highest quality service, product and presentation at all times, and mobilising the workforce to strive for the equivalent in excellence
Running the floor during meal periods to ensure that all service standards are met through all guests interactions.
Hands-on supervision of all bar/restaurant operations and team members including assisting in rostering and planning
Resolution of guest service issues in regards to service and food quality, ensuring we utilise the opportunity for recovery as a way of leaving a lasting and positive impression
Maintenance of staffing levels, appropriate to limiting costs but ensuring excellence in service standards are not compromised
Operating 7 days, this role will entail a Tuesday to Saturday roster with predominantly night shifts that will conclude at 11 PM
About you
We have a high level of experience within the hospitality industry and are looking for a positive, honest, genuine, team-focused person. We like to work with people who are passionate about encouraging and educating other motivated, highly talented people to do their best!
Some things that would be amazing for you to bring to the table include:
Minimum 2 years experience in a fast paced environment in a supervisory capacity
A passion and commitment to deliver exceptional customer service
Strong management skills and the ability to hire, guide & train floor staff
Innovation and drive to continue revenue growth
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong command of the english language
Strong time management and organisational skills
Strong knowledge of food and wine
