We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. This role will report to the Rooms Division Manager and is responsible for managing & overseeing the Front Office department, including Telephones.

The successful candidate will:
Develop and motivate the Front Office, Telephones Team
Lead the check in, checkout experience with the Front Office team
Lead the Front Office Department with guest enrolments into the Hotel’s loyalty program, GHA DISCOVERY. of hotel loyalty program
Drive upsell strategy and empower the team to deliver great results
Effectively communicate with all other departments including maintaining the daily reports, and leading the operation briefings for the team
Ensure a memorable experience for all guests, making everyone feel welcome and feel valued
Bring energy and a “can do” attitude to the Lobby and team
Prepare efficient work schedule for Front Office Team
Manage department payroll, expenses and forecasts
Deliver and promote exceptional experiences through LQA standards
Ideally you will have:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar role within a 4-5 star environment
Experience with Opera or similar PMS system
Managerial knowledge in the Hospitality Industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
First Aid certificate
