About the Role:
St John Ambulance is calling on enthusiastic and passionate Registered Paramedics to be part of a growing team dedicated to making a real difference in the community. In this unique and rewarding role, you will deliver critical emergency care to passengers who fall ill or sustain injuries on Sydney train station platforms during peak travel periods.
We offer flexible weekday shifts—choose from 6 –10am or 2–7pm, Monday to Friday to fit around your lifestyle, study, or family commitments. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver healthcare services to patients in accordance with your clinical scope of practice
Accurately document patient care and complete incident reports within designated timeframes
Conduct active patrols of Sydney train stations, including risk assessment, hazard identification and escalation, and early intervention for vulnerable individuals
Manage and respond to calls via the designated paramedic mobile phone assigned to the train station
Adhere to instructions and operational directives provided by Sydney Trains supervisors
You will:
Have a minimum 6 months practised Paramedicine experience
Hold an unrestricted AHPRA Registration
Possess a current Working with Children Check and current Criminal Record Check
Demonstrate the ability to build trusting relationships in a minimal amount of time
Communicate information, both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and professionally
Focused on providing excellent customer service while achieving outstanding health outcomes.
