The Opportunity

The Shire of Victoria Plains has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated and

team-oriented individual to fill the role of Plant Operator to join our team in Calingiri.

Applicants should possess developed skills in the operation of plant & machinery used in the maintenance and

construction of roads. Previous experience in a similar position will be well regarded; however, training will be

provided for the successful applicant.

You will learn everything there is to know about the plant and equipment used to do the job safely and

expertly. The role has an anticipated commencement for an immediate start.

The Successful Candidate to Ideally Possess:

• You will demonstrate a genuine passion, and the resilience required for physical work outdoors.

• You will be able to work in a team or unsupervised; all the time taking pride and working safely in

producing great outcomes for our community.

• You will be physically fit and have a “can-do” attitude.

• Have a ‘HR’ class licence as a minimum, prefer HC.

Benefits

• In return for your hard work and dedication, Salary will be based on the EBA Award 2025, with ranges

from $65,625 to $71,033 depending on the experience, plus 12% Guarantee Super and Industry

Allowance.

• Full-Time, 80 hours, 9 days per fortnight
