Elite Resource Australia is seeking experienced Excavator Operators for a long-term infrastructure project in Cairns, QLD. This role involves slope stabilisation and rock catch fencing, with consistent hours and strong rates. Local candidates preferred.

About the Role:

Operating excavators fitted with drill rig attachments to drill holes

Working on slope stabilisation and rock catch fencing

Navigating tight access areas and challenging terrain

Assisting other crews with manual labour when not operating

10-hour shifts, 5–6 days per week

Long-term project with immediate start

Pay Rates:

$50/hr – Normal time

$65/hr – OT1

$75/hr – OT2

Opportunity for gross pay to be over $3,000 per week

Requirements:

Proven experience operating excavators, especially in tight or difficult areas

Experience with drill rig attachments highly regarded

Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures

Willingness to assist with general labouring duties

Reliable, fit for duty, and available for long-term work

Must complete drug & alcohol screen and face fit test prior to starting – Elite Resource will organise

Local Cairns-based candidates preferred
