What You’ll Do
This is a hybrid position that blends the core responsibilities of an Employment Consultant (EC) with elements of an Employment Skills Mentor (ESM), offering a unique opportunity to support participants both through direct employment placement and skill-building activities.
Through our Workforce Australian program you’ll manage a caseload of job seekers, provide tailored coaching, connect participants with employment opportunities, and deliver group workshops or one-on-one mentoring to build job readiness and confidence.
- Caseload Management: Manage participant caseloads with care and efficiency, ensuring person-centred support throughout the employment journey.
- Engage & Coach: Build strong relationships with participants, understand their goals, and deliver tailored coaching to enhance confidence and address employment barriers.
- Tailored Pathways: Facilitate group workshops and one-on-one mentoring. Connect participants with training, activities, and work experience pathways that suit their needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with employers, training providers, and community organisations to expand employment opportunities for participants.
- Program Compliance: Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance standards to support high-quality contract-aligned outcomes and performance goals.
What You Bring
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust and motivate others.
- Training & Facilitation: Confidence in facilitating group sessions and mentoring individuals to build skills, confidence, and readiness for employment.
- Organised & Adaptable: Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, balancing administrative demands with people-centred service delivery.
- Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
- Pre-Requisites: Full eligibility to work in Australia, a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
