Position Title: Enrolled Nurse - Full-time
Location: North Perth Metro Area
Reports to: Director of Care, Facility Manager and Clinical Nurse Manager

About the role
You will provide safe, effective, quality care to all our facility residents. The successful candidate must have good communication, assessment and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team and make meaningful connections with our residents, their families, co-workers, and external providers.
A background in Mental Health, while preferred, is optional. Reporting to the Director of Care and Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for delivering relationship centered care that ensures the dignity and respect of all residents. All the while providing clinical supervision of Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing and Care workers.
Skills and experience
Enrolled Nurse with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role providing nursing care to residents in a variety of settings, aged care, mental health, welfare and community
Excellent knowledge of clinical care practices
Working knowledge of an aged care systems clinical documentation software eg iCare, LeeCare, Medsig
Experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of Aged Care and Mental Health accreditation and the clinical standards, including dementia and challenging behaviours
Clear understanding of AN-ACC, SIRS and Mandatory reporting requirements
Commitment to delivering high quality resident focused care
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and strong leadership skills
Assessing, planning and implementing nursing care for residents and clients according to nursing practices and standards
Providing intervention's, treatments and therapies such as administering medications, monitoring responses to treatments, assessments and care plans
Assisting Registered Nurses and other care staff to coordinate and evaluate care
Promoting and assisting in health education activities for the prevention of esculating behaviours
Monitor all restrictive practices
