About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the community? We looking for a motivated and proactive individual to join our team on a part time basis (0.6 FTE/ 3 days a week) to provide essential financial and administrative support to our organisation.
The Finance Assistant will work closely with the Corporate Support Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of finance functions including invoicing, payroll reporting, reconciliations, procurement, and budgeting support.
Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Support payroll processing
Reconcile bank statements, staff reimbursements, and credit card statements.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems in accordance with organisational policies.
UseXero, ApprovalMax, Employment Hero Payroll, and Microsoft 365 tools to manage financial data.
Provide administrative and financial support to the Corporate Services Manager as required.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or business administration (desirable).
Experience in financial administration and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
A collaborative approach and commitment to the values of the not-for-profit sector.
The successful applicant will also be required to provide a current National Police Check (or be willing to obtain) and a current WA Drivers licence.
