Duties within this role will include:

• Complex taxation calculations
• Tax returns and financials for companies, partnerships, trusts, SMSF and individuals
• Calculation of CGT and FBT for clients
• Quarterly BAS and IAS
• Reconciliation
• Regular monthly and quarterly reporting for a handful of clients
• Div 7A calculations
• Communicate with clients in regards to basic tax matters, following up on information and addressing client queries, over the phone and email

Experience and personal attributes required:

• 3 + years of experience within a Business Services / Taxation role in Australia
• Experience working for private clients, family businesses and corporate structures
• Experience with trusts, partnerships, individuals and companies
• Team player
• CA/ CPA qualified or part qualified
• Willing to process work from the ground up
• Great communication, technical ability and confidence to communicate with clients
