About the role

The position is responsible for the delivering an evidence based best practice psychology service across the IUIH network. You will work in a multidisciplinary community- based pain service to provide a comprehensive assessment and evidence-based treatment to reduce the reliance on tertiary pain management services. An opportunity to work closely with the Tess Cramond Pain and Research Centre (TCPRC) to provide First Nations people access to culturally safe care within the Community Controlled Health sector. Within the Endo PP Service, you will work as an integral part of the team to provide Women with Endometriosis and/or Pelvic Pain to better manage their symptoms. This multi-disciplinary team consists of a GP with Special Interest in Women's health, a Women's Wayfinding Nurse and a Pelvic Pain Physiotherapist to deliver this service. In 2026 this will also include Peri Menopause and Menopause services to our women.

Within this role, you will be required to:

  • Work collaboratively as a clinical member of a multidisciplinary team, to facilitate the delivery of an efficient, responsive, and integrated service to clients.
  • Utilise advanced knowledge, experience and clinical skills to provide psychological services for clients, including those with persistent pain and women experiencing Endometriosis and/or Pelvic Pain.
  • Manage an appropriate caseload using effective time management and prioritisation skills, including clinical and non-clinical responsibilities and the maintenance of accurate client records and documentation.
  • Actively participate in professional and multidisciplinary team meetings including clinical case conference.
  • Utilise high level communication and interpersonal skills to achieve optimal client and service delivery outcomes, in addition to engaging clients and family in their care delivery.
  • Uphold client confidentiality, ensuring their right to privacy with information only being shared where consents are provided.

About you

  • Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
  • Bachelor of Psychology
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Completion of, or eligibility for, accreditation as Psychologists Board of Australia as an approved supervisor
