About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Mechanical & Production Engineer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for testing and overseeing the production of our diamond tool range — to meet strict performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage production of mechanical tools and components from concept to completion

Create and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD/CAM software

Plan and coordinate production schedules, materials, and resources to ensure timely delivery

Select materials and components based on mechanical performance and application

Test and evaluate prototypes and final products for performance and quality assurance

Identify and resolve production and machinery issues to minimise downtime

Develop safe work procedures for all factory processes

Analyse production data to drive process improvements and maintain technical documentation

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)

Experience in mechanical design and manufacturing

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360)

Strong understanding of materials and mechanical properties

Experience with laser cutting and welding equipment

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable

Experience with diamond cutting tools or precision machining

Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
