Role Overview
As a Cook at LARK, you’ll be responsible for preparing a variety of appetizing bar snacks and other food offerings that pair perfectly with our unique whisky selection. You’ll have the chance to showcase your culinary skills while being part of a dynamic, exciting environment.
Key Responsibilities may include:
Prepare high-quality, delicious food in line with LARK’s standards
Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with local regulations
Reduce wastage and contribute to cost-effective food management
Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient, smooth-running kitchen
Every day in this role will offer new challenges and opportunities. You’ll bring your experience and passion for Tasmanian whisky into play, building a connection with customers that makes the LARK brand come to life. No two days will be the same!
About You
We’re looking for an organised, results-driven hospitality professional who is passionate about food and dedicated to providing a consistently excellent experience. The ideal candidate will bring:
At least 3 years of experience as a Cook or Chef in a similar setting
A valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Essential)
A passion for food, with a drive to continually learn and develop culinary skills
Strong knowledge of WHS Compliance and food safety practices
The ability to manage a section independently and responsibly
High standards of food preparation, presentation, and service
Excellent time management, communication, and collaboration skills
Role Details
We are recruiting for two casual positions, offering 2-3 days per week (approximately 15-20 hours). Our food offering spans across a 7-day week.
