Under new leadership and with a renewed focus on quality, energy, and training, we’re entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re looking for experienced photographers to join us.

About the Role…

As a School Photographer, you’ll capture professional class, staff, and full-school photos across Western Australia. You’ll lead on-site sessions, coordinate with school staff, and deliver high-quality results that reflect our standard of excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

Photographing school groups across metro and regional WA (travel and accommodation provided)

Setting up and managing equipment, lighting, and scaffolding safely and efficiently

Directing and engaging students and staff for balanced, well-composed images

Maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and pride in presentation

Supporting and mentoring assistant photographers

About You…

You will present a portfolio (10–12 images) showing a range of images: group (schools, clubs, weddings, etc.), portraits, and promotional/commercial

Strong technical knowledge of camera settings, lighting, and composition

Understanding of post-processing and file management

Confident, approachable, and professional in every interaction

Detail-oriented and have excellent time management

Comfortable directing large groups and working under pressure

WA Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)

Current Australian Driver’s Licence

Desired Experience and Qualifications

Experience in school photography

5+ years of photography industry experience

WA Pro Photographer or AIPP membership (current or past)
