About the role
As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering complex diagnostic imaging services across a variety of clinical specialities, using specialised equipment with a high level of independence. Your role will involve performing advanced medical imaging procedures with professionalism and care, ensuring accurate results that support patient diagnosis and treatment.
You will also play an important role in guiding and mentoring others, providing professional direction to radiographers, PDY radiographers, and students on placement. In addition, you will contribute to departmental research initiatives and quality assurance programs, supporting ongoing improvement and innovation in medical imaging. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine clinical expertise with teaching and research, making a meaningful contribution to both patient care and the professional development of others.
About You
You will be a skilled and adaptable Radiographer with proven experience in delivering complex imaging procedures. With strong technical knowledge and a collaborative approach, you will be committed to providing safe, high-quality imaging services that support patient care and diagnostic outcomes.
Qualifications – Degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography, licensed under the Radiation Protection and Control Act (SA), and registered (or eligible) with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
Skills and Attributes – Strong initiative, effective written and verbal communication, proven ability to assess clinical needs, work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team, and maintain positive professional relationships.
Experience – Demonstrated competence in performing a wide range of complex radiography imaging procedures with accuracy and independence.
Knowledge – Sound understanding of PACS, human resource principles, safe radiation practices, medico-legal responsibilities, and contemporary radiography standards.
