The Role:

CPH Mining & Civil are seeking a capable Multi-Skilled Excavator / Loader Operator to join our team providing surface logistics and civil-earthworks services at BMA’s Broadmeadow Mine.

You’ll be operating a range of modern equipment — including Cat 315, Cat 336, and Komatsu PC360 Excavators, as well as a Volvo L70F Loader — to deliver safe and efficient outcomes across road maintenance, drainage, rehabilitation, and surface logistics works.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the contract scope, you’ll undertake a variety of tasks supporting both mining and civil operations. Depending on your ticketed equipment and experience, responsibilities may include:

Operating excavators for trenching, drainage, sump de-silting, rehabilitation, and bund construction

Operating loaders for material handling, road topping, surface logistics, and stockpile management

Supporting road maintenance, dust suppression, and haul-road repairs

Assisting with stormwater and catch-drain maintenance, pit-mud removal, and topsoil reclamation

Performing general earthworks and site clean-up tasks as required

Contributing to rehabilitation, bund, and culvert maintenance activities

Assisting with Red Hill Road subsidence repairs and traffic control

Participating in equipment mobilisation/demobilisation and refuelling support

Maintaining a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, and SHMS adherence

This is a versatile role suited to operators confident working across mixed civil and mining scopes in changing site conditions.

Requirements:

Current QLD Health Assessment (Coal Board Medical)

Australian Driver’s Licence

Statement of Attainment for Standard 11

BMA Core Inducted

Demonstrated prior experience (mine site transcript history showing pass-outs)

Excavator and Wheel Loader RII Statement of Attainments
