Scraper Operators (Rehabilitation) –– Day shift only 7:7

Minecon Recruitment has partnered with a highly respected mining organisation to find experienced Scraper and Grader Operators for a critical rehabilitation project.

This is a DIDO opportunity based in the Moranbah region, Queensland, offering a 7-on, 7-off day shift roster. We are seeking committed operators to join this program, which will run for a minimum of 3-5 months. This project is the first of many planned, and successful completion will provide strong opportunities for immediate transition to the next project in the region

The Roles & Project Details

We are seeking skilled and safety-focused operators for the following positions:

Scraper Operators (CAT 637)

What We Offer:

Roster: Stable 7-on, 7-off day shift roster (12-hour shifts)

Accommodation: Camp facilities are provided, which include an on-site gym and other amenities.

Transport: This is a DIDO position, with a bus service provided from the camp to the site.

Pay Rate: Highly competitive pay rates of $63.00/hour

Generous Incentives: A substantial ‘Project Completion’ bonus will be paid, along with other benefits.

Superannuation: Paid on all rostered hours.

Work Environment: An extremely supportive and positive team culture.

Uniforms: All uniforms are provided.

Referral Program: Refer an experienced operator who successfully commences, and you will receive a $500 Anaconda or BCF gift voucher. This voucher is paid for each successful referral.

Key Responsibilities

Working under the supervision of the Mining and Rehabilitation General Manager and Supervisors, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy mobile plant machinery. This includes working collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective rehabilitation results.

Skills & Experience Required

To be considered for these roles, you must have:

Experience: A minimum of 12 months of experience operating relevant machinery (CAT 16 Graders and CAT 637 Scrapers).

Tickets & Licences:

Valid Driver’s Licence

Signed Skills List (by an SSE) or other evidence of competency

Standard 11 Certificate

Coal Board Medical

Proof of Australian Working Rights

Commitment: The ability to commit to the full 3–5-month duration of the project.

Compliance: The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
