TRS Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a growing shopfitting & Commercial Fit Out Company in Sunbury, Victoria.

With increasing demand and ongoing projects across Australia, they’re expanding their internal workshop—and we’re looking for skilled, trade-qualified Cabinet Makers to join their day-shift team.

Role Overview:

You will manufacture, assemble, and install bespoke cabinetry and joinery components in a well-equipped workshop. You’ll work closely with project teams, interpreting plans and shop drawings to deliver high-quality results for commercial and retail interiors.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and work from architectural plans and internal shop drawings.
• Operate woodworking machines, tools, and jigs safely and competently
• Make precise measurements, cuts, and joins; maintain tolerances
• Assemble, finish, and install cabinetry and joinery items
• Monitor workload, coordinate with team members, and respect project deadlines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

Skills & Experience Required

• Trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Woodworking or Joinery (Cert III or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years’ workshop experience preferred
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail, precision, and workmanship
• Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills
• Must be based in the Melbourne / Sunbury area
• Must hold the right to work in Australia
• Provide references from two previous employers
