About the Role

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and integration services across multiple platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure secure, high-throughput, and reliable digital services for government operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST APIs following OpenAPI 3.x standards
• Build modular, maintainable services in Node.js, TypeScript, ReactJS, or C#
• Ensure performance, reliability, and resilience using caching, retries, and circuit breakers
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and deploy services to Kubernetes or serverless environments
• Maintain observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/OpenSearch
• Produce documentation, changelogs, SDKs, and support partner teams

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, ReactJS, or C# (.NET)
• Experience with API standards, OAuth 2.1/OIDC, JWT, and mTLS
• Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB); caching with Redis
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka, SQS, or Pub/Sub
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals, and Terraform/Infrastructure as Code
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
